Grandma's Museum Again

We had to go to DMNS again because we wanted to see the Cuba IMAX. I didn't think Samson and Thora would be interested in that one, so my mom took them to Discovery Zone while I took Tommy, Katie, and Dancy to the show. I enjoyed learning about Cuba's history with agriculture and how that connects to their coral reef health. During Soviet control of Cuba, they used machinery and chemical sprays in their farming practices. When the Soviets left Cuba, they took all that with them. That's when the older generations taught the younger generations how to do organic farming the way it had been done for centuries before the Soviets. That's also the time when the coral reefs stopped their health decline and started to thrive--no more chemical run off to the oceans! Tommy, Katie, and Dancy enjoyed learning about Cuba's love of ballet and following one dancer in her journey to audition for the national ballet.

Another book pic for later reading. Our book list grows longer every time we go...

Birthday party!

Another happy Incline climb!

It started snowing on me at the end. We've named this type of snow Dip-n-Dot snow.

Dancy tried out the hydraulics set at the ERC.

Katie tried out this STEM kit, didn't like what it was telling her to do, so she made it her own way.
